On Monday, 28 June 2021, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Šakių district municipality, on Šaulių street, at the junction with V. Kudirkos street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and a Volvo S60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 16-year-old cyclist, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
