On Monday, 12 July 2021, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kaunas, on Drobės street near No. 60, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Carisma and a Volkswagen LT 35 registered in Ukraine. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (34 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
