On Saturday, 17 July 2021, in the afternoon at 14:26, in Kaunas, on Šakių street, at the junction with Universiteto street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Audi (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
