On Monday, 19 July 2021, in the evening at 19:25, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Žemaitės street, at the junction with Kvietinių street, a MTZ Belarus-892 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the MTZ (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
