On Monday, 19 July 2021, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Eitkūnų street near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Toyota (23 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
