On Monday, 2 August 2021, in the evening at 18:30, in Vilnius, on Žarijų street near No. 2, a Peugeot 406 registered in Belarus rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Peugeot (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.39‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
