On Sunday, 8 August 2021, at night at 2:20, in Rokiškio district municipality, Zybolių village, on the Rokiškis–Žiobiškis–Paliepis regional road (kilometre 5), a Saab 9-3 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Saab (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.49‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 22-year-old passenger of the Saab was drunk. A 37-year-old passenger of the Saab was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
