On Wednesday, 11 August 2021, in the evening at 20:27, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Minskas (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 21.50), an Iveco Magirus 440ST registered in Belarus hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Iveco (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
