On Thursday, 12 August 2021, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 226, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Citroen C4 Picasso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 81-year-old driver of the Opel (49 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
