On Saturday, 14 August 2021, in the evening at 22:18, in Kretingos district municipality, Laukžemės village, on Ilgoji street near No. 12, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Almera and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Nissan (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
