On Friday, 20 August 2021, in the afternoon at 11:52, in Vilnius, on Nemenčinės highway, at the junction with Kairėnų street, a BMW X3 3.0D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the BMW (40 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.53‰ blood alcohol).
