On Sunday, 22 August 2021, in the afternoon at 15:28, in Kaunas, on H. ir O. Minkovskių street, at the junction with M. K. Čiurlionio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Insignia Sports Tourer SW and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
