On Saturday, 3 October 2020, in the evening at 19:30, in Marijampolės municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 130), a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of a vehicle, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
