On Saturday, 28 August 2021, in the evening at 19:58, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Radiškis–Anykščiai–Rokiškis national road (kilometre 8.90), a motorcycle ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of a motorcycle, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.87‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
