On Sunday, 5 September 2021, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Plungės district municipality, on Kalniškių street near No. 25, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Transporter and an Audi 8D, Audi A4, -S4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
