On Sunday, 12 September 2021, in the evening at around 21:00, in Vilnius, on Vikingų street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra Station Wagon and a BMW 520D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 81-year-old driver of the Opel (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
