On Monday, 20 September 2021, in the evening at 17:45, in Palanga, on Taikos street, at the junction with Sodų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S40 and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Volvo (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
