On Thursday, 30 September 2021, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Joniškio district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street near No. 10, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Mercedes-Benz 311. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW, who entered the oncoming traffic lane.
