On Wednesday, 6 October 2021, in the evening at 17:31, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Žemaitijos street near No. 37, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Porsche Cayenne Diesel and a Suzuki Vitara. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Porsche (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
