On Saturday, 9 October 2021, at night at 1:10, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 68.20), a Toyota Corolla rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.84‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 120 km/h.
