On Saturday, 9 October 2021, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kauno district municipality, Biruliškių village, on Terminalo street, at the junction with Plento street, a Mazda 6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Mazda (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.76‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
