On Saturday, 16 October 2021, in the evening at 22:15, in Kaunas, on A. Mickevičiaus street near No. 58, a Seat Altea ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Seat (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.76‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
