On Monday, 18 October 2021, in the evening at 17:19, in Švenčionių district municipality, on the Vilnius-Švenčionys-Zarasai national road (kilometre 80), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, a trailer ≤ 0.75 t and an Opel Astra-G-Caravan.
