On Monday, 25 October 2021, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street, at the junction with Antano Vienažindžio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Fiesta and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 81-year-old driver of the Ford (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
