On Tuesday, 26 October 2021, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Birštono street near No. 12, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Land Rover Range Rover Sport. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when changing direction. She was drunk (1.63‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
