On Saturday, 30 October 2021, in the morning at 10:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Gargždai–Kretinga national road (kilometre 7.20), a Nissan Qashqai ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of a Volkswagen NEW Beetle (9 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction.
