On Monday, 1 November 2021, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kauno district municipality, Akademijos town, on Šakių pl., at the junction with Forto street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 308, a Toyota Avensis and a Honda CR-V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Peugeot (32 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
