On Monday, 8 November 2021, in the evening at 17:24, in Vilnius, on Kareivių street, at the junction with Žirmūnų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6, a Volkswagen Sharan, a car, a Volkswagen Caddy and a Peugeot 407. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Audi (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
