On Saturday, 20 November 2021, in the morning at around 5:00, in Klaipėda, on Stadiono street, at the junction with Malūnininkų street, a Mazda 6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
