On Monday, 22 November 2021, in the evening at 17:09, in Jonavos district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street near No. 3, at the junction with Lietavos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel, a Volvo and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Opel (22 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
