On Tuesday, 23 November 2021, in the afternoon at 15:20, in Ignalinos district municipality, on the Kazokinė–Ceikiniai–Mielagėnai regional road (kilometre 1.70), a Toyota Prius rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Toyota (35 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.45‰ blood alcohol). A 34-year-old passenger of the Toyota was drunk (3.10‰). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
