On Tuesday, 23 November 2021, in the evening at around 17:00, in Alytus, on Santaikos street, at the junction with Likiškėlių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Superb and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Skoda (22 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
