On Sunday, 28 November 2021, in the evening at 19:35, in Klaipėda, on Baltijos pr., at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5ER Reihe and a MAN TGX 18.440. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
