On Sunday, 28 November 2021, in the evening at 20:20, in Kaunas, on Vaidoto street, at the junction with Tilto street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-5 and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Saab, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.78‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
