On Saturday, 27 November 2021, in the afternoon at 13:55, in Panevėžio district municipality, Klimbalės farmstead, on the Paliūniškis–Vabalninkas national road (kilometre 3.88), a Saab 9-3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Saab (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet.
