On Monday, 29 November 2021, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 352, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Setra and a Mercedes-Benz 313. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Setra (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
