On Saturday, 11 December 2021, in the afternoon at 15:23, in Vilnius, on Taurupės street, at the junction with Smalinės street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra and an Audi. Two people were injured — a 18-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and the 20-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.10‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
