Drunk Hyundai driver in crash with Setra bus on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Sunday, 19 December 2021, in the afternoon at 16:23, in Elektrėnų municipality, Lazdėnų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 29.40), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai and a Setra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Hyundai, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
