On Wednesday, 5 January 2022, in the evening at 19:37, in Kaunas, on Demokratų street, at the junction with Vytenio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and an Opel Signum. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Audi (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.56‰ blood alcohol).
