On Friday, 7 January 2022, in the afternoon at 15:52, in Panevėžys, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 29, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Toyota (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
