On Monday, 10 January 2022, in the morning at around 8:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with Vasario 16-osios street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of a bus (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.67‰ blood alcohol).
