Scania R500 truck and Toyota crash on the Vilnius–Panevėžys road
On Tuesday, 11 January 2022, in the evening at 19:40, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 44.50), a Scania R500 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Scania (33 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
