On Monday, 17 January 2022, in the morning at 7:40, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street near No. 45, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant, a Peugeot 207, an Opel Astra, a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Audi (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
