On Monday, 17 January 2022, in the evening at around 19:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on Mokolų street near No. 61, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Rover 75 and a Volvo XC60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Rover (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
