On Sunday, 23 January 2022, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Tauragės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with Vasario 16-osios street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
