On Wednesday, 26 January 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilnius, on Upės street, at the junction with Kalvarijų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot Partner and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Peugeot (45 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
