On Friday, 28 January 2022, in the afternoon at 11:20, in Biržų district municipality, on the Biržai–Pandėlys–Rokiškis national road (kilometre 15.50), a DAF FT XF95.430 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the DAF (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was icy.
