On Wednesday, 9 February 2022, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street, at the junction with Perkaso tak., a car hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 78-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of a car (45 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
