On Tuesday, 15 February 2022, in the evening at 21:05, in Plungės district municipality, on J. Tumo-Vaižganto street, at the junction with A. Jucio street, a BMW 320 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
