On Monday, 21 February 2022, in the evening at 18:28, in Kretingos district municipality, on Topolių aklg. street, at the junction with Savanorių street, a Volvo V50 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volvo (11 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
